Jeffrey Schulman, a graduate student pursuing a doctorate in informatics in the College of IST, recently presented at HammerCon 2024, the national convention of the Military Cyber Professionals Association. This year’s HammerCon theme was “Our Warfighting Workforce: Talent, Teams, Training, Triumph.”
Schulman’s presented “Bits are Bullets and Barricades; The Real Nature of Information Warfare.” It explored the fundamental nature of information warfare and offered a conceptual model for re-imagining how we think about information physicality and security classification handling.
Schulman is advised by Jonathan Dodge, assistant professor.
